HENRY DE BOER
SIOUX FALLS— Henry De Boer, 81, ( former Hull resident) died on Sunday, November 9, at the Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were held at First Christian Reformed Church, Sioux Falls, with burial in Hull, Iowa.
Henry was born in 1927, to Walter and Sadie De Boer in Hull. He graduated from high school in Hull and went onto Calvin College where he received his Bachelors of Arts Degree. He then attained his Masters of Business Administration at USD in Vermillion and did graduate work at the University of NE in Lincoln. He served in the Army overseas in Korea.
Henry married Eleanor Weesles in 1956 in Michigan. They made their home in Grand Rapids, MI. Henry taught at Dakota Christian high school in New Holland, SD, Northwestern College, Orange City, and Sioux Falls College and National College of Business in Sioux Falls. Later he began his own Accounting Service in Sioux Falls.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor, Sioux Falls; sons, Donald and Brenda De Boer of Sanborn, IA; Bradley and Kathey De Boer of Chandler, AZ; a daughter, Janet and Robert Witt, Anchorage, AK; 7 grandchildren and four step-sons.
