The funeral service of Albert Duistermars, former resident of north of Perkins, were held Friday afternoon at the Second Christian Reformed Church in Orange City, with Rev. Harlen Roelofs presiding. Interment was held in the Orange City cemetery with Van Etten's in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Duistermars died September 12, in Bellflower, CA, at the age of 63 years. He had been suffering from cancer of the spine for some time.

Born in Orange City he was the son of Dirk & Ella (Mouw) Duistermars, who preceded him in death. He was married to Marie Kanis.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Marie; two sons, Owin W. & Robert D.; six brothers and three sisters, William of Orange City, Tony of Glendale, CA; Dick of Orange City; Mrs. Bruce Woodburn (Winifred) of Redlands, CA; Jake of Sioux Center; Mrs. Lawrence Romenhorot (Johanna) of Orange City, Elmer of Sioux Center; Mrs. Okko Wielenga (Marie) of Redlands, CA; and eight grandchildren.
