Elsie Draayer De Boer, 99, of Orange City died Monday, November 20, at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Orange City.
Services were at 10:30 a.rn. Friday, November 24, at First Reformed Church in Ireton with the Rev. Leon Draayer and the Rev. Douglas Van Aartsen officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton.
Mrs. De Boer was born September 9, 1896, in Edgerton. Minnesota, the daughter of William and Alice (Haskell) Pronk. She married Henry Draayer in Sioux Center on March 8, 1916, the couple lived and farmed near Clear Lake, South Dakota, Montevideo, Minnesota, and Orange City. He died in 1970. She married Joe De Boer, May 10, 1976, in Luverne, Minnesota. He preceded her in death and she continued to live in Ireton. She had been a resident of Heritage House the last nine years.
She was a member of the Ireton First Reformed Church and the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, John W. Draayer and Henrietta of Ireton and Orville "Corky" Draayer and Donna of Chatsworth; a daughter-in-law, Lois Mitchell of Hawarden: a sister, Ida Bingham of Idaho:
25 grandchildren: 30 great-grandchildren: and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Harold: a sister, Elizabeth
