Mrs. J. J. Robertson passed away Monday morning. Was 45 years of age and lived here the past 18, years - survived by husband and four children.
Hawarden friends and relatives were greatly shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mrs. James J. Robertson, for the past eighteen years a resident of this community, which occurred at her home, four miles northwest of Hawarden, at 7 O'clock Mondayy morning from a heart attack. She had been in failing health since Februrary but was only bedfast for about two weeks predceding her death.
A brief funeral service will be held at 2 o;clock this afternoon at the home and 2:30 at th Baptist Temple in this city. Interment will be made in Grace Hill Cemtery.
Osa Neal Newman, daughter of C. G. and Belle Newman, was born near Greenville KY, Nov 17, 1890 and passed away at her home near Hawarden Aug. 10, 1936 at the age of 45 years 8 months and 24 days.
On Oct 30, 1906 she ws untied in marriage with James J. Robertson at Greenville KY. Three sons and two daughters were born to this union, the eldest son, Thomas, dying in infance. Anthony, Paul and Evelyn are at home and Mrs. L. R. Newman lives at Greenville KY.
The family came to this community in March 1918. She was a faithful member of the Baptist church. Preceding her in death were her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Newman, two brothers, Claudius and Sherman Newman, and one sister Mrs. Ethel Jeffries.
Besides her husband and children, her sudden departure is mourned by three sisterd and four borthers, as listed in the obit and many friends and relatives.
