Mrs.. Teunis (Margaret) De Jong
68, of Rock Valley died Wednesday, May 11, 1983 in Hegg Memorial hospital
Services were at 10 a.m. Friday, May, 13, 1983 in the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley. The Rev. Gordon Bloemendaal officiated . Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.
Mrs. De Jong, the former Margaret Gerritsen, was born May 1, 1915, at Ireton. She attended school in Ireton and later in Rock Valley. She married Teunis De Jong Nov. 29, 1944, in Orange City. They lived in the Rock Valley area where they farmed.
Survivors include her husband; two brothers, Frank of Rock Valley and John of Rock Rapids and one sister, Mrs. Tom (Nellie) Mijano of El Paso, Texas.
