MRS. MARY DE JONG
October 14, 1876--February 26, 1966
Funeral, services were held March 2, 1966 at the First Reformed church of Hospers for Mrs. Mary De Jong (nee Hoeven) 89, who passed away February 26, 1966. Vander Ploeg’s were in charge of arrange. ments.
Mrs. De Jong was born October 14, 1876, at Newkirk and on April 26, 1899, was married to Conrad P. De Jong. Mr. De Jong died May 27, 1964.
Survivors include the following children: Edythe (Mrs. H. John Hoffs) of Sheldon, Edwin of Mercedes, Texas, Phyllis (Mrs. William F. Beswick) of Buffalo, N. Y., and Hazel (Mrs. Fredrick Bynes),
of Rochester, Minn. Twin sons died in infancy. There are eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by one brother and one sister. Eight brothers and three sisters preceded.
The Rev. M. Tysen officiated with burial made in the Hospers Cemetery.
