AUGUST HEIDBRINK DIES IN HOSPITAL
Well Known Farmer and Stockman

August Henry Heidbrink, 66, well-known farmer and stockman living five and a half miles northeast of Ireton, died at the Sacred Heart Hospital, LeMars, Tuesday, following several months illness. Mr. Heidbrink was born in Mulheim, Germany, February 14, 1878, and came with his parents to Sioux county when three years old and lived there all his life. He is survived by six brothers: Henry of LeMars; Fred of Spencer, S.D.; Charles of Ireton; Louis of LeMars; Edward and Oscar of Ireton; six sisters, Mrs. Anna Gearke, of LeMars; Mrs. Marie Rabitille of Eugene, Oregon; Mrs. Elmer Franke of Maurice; Mrs. Mathilda Rasmussen, of Wilmar, Calif.; Louise at home; nine nieces and eleven nephews.

The Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ireton and interment made in the family burying ground at St. John’s Lutheran cemetery, east of Ireton. Rev. H. W. Krieger officiated at the service and the pallbearers were the six brothers.
