The funeral of Mrs. A. J. Rensink who died last Saturday, was held from the church at Newkirk last Monday, Rev. P. Lepeltak of this city conducted the services, Mrs. Rensink lived on a nice farm about a mile east of Newkirk, and her death was the result of blood poisoning.
Her demise comes as an unusually sad blow to the relatives and friends as this is the second time that death has entered the home within the past two months, taking away the husband and now the wife. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Stronks were among those from this city who attended the funeral.
