James S. Walker, 23, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Hull, died Sunday morning in St. Louis as a result of a murder. He was a first year law student at St. Louis University and a graduate of the University of Iowa, 1983.

Services were at 9 a.m., Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Oelwin. Burial was at 4 p.m., Wednesday at Westawn Cemetery, Orange City.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Helen Bush, of Oelwin; two sisters, Shirley Walker, Madison, Wis., and Joanna Walker of Topeka, Kan.; one brother, Robert Bush of Madison, Wis., and his fiance, Joan Melgaard of St. Louis, MO.

He was born June 30, 1960 in Kansas City, MO., the son of John & Helen (Mulder) Walker.
