Maxine Lillian Wade, 86, a longtime resident of Artesia, Calif., died March 22, 2004. Graveside services were held March 26 at Forest Lawn, Cypress, Calif. with a memorial service held at Faith Church, Norwalk, Calif.

Maxine Lillian Wade was born on Nov. 28, 1917 in Gordon, Kan., the daughter of Francis Fredric and Emma (Bowermaster) Trieber. She married Russell Curtis Wade June 8, 1935. They moved to Ireton in 1944 and she worked at Otis Radio in Hawarden. They moved to Artesia in 1959. She worked for Beckman for 30 years retiring in 1988.

She is survived by son Russell Curtis Wade, Jr., daughter Beverly Ann DeKruyf, four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russell in 1978, sisters Ocie Muriel Clark, Gladys Faye Brown, Emily Ruth McClintick, brothers Francis H. Trebbe, Glenn Marvin Trebbe, Guy Roger Trebbe and one great-grandchildren Rebecca DeKruyf.
