Mrs. Long died at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Alex Shaffer last Saturday, after a illness of three weeks, Rev. Mahood officiated at the funeral held on Monday and the remains were interred in Hope cemetery of Hull.
(As recorded in a family history on ancestry.com -Mrs. Long was Anna Tillery 1853-1882 (This must be mistake as Mrs. Long died 1898 at Hull IA) She was Mrs. Charles Newton Long 1840. married 1888, The children were Sarah Octavia Long Mrs. Alexander Shaffer b. 14 Nov 1869 Benton Missouri, Claude, Beulah, Dale, Beula, Vera, Grant, and Marguerite. )
