Kermit Erickson, 78, of Alcester, SD, died Friday, Dec. 28, 1984, at the hospital in Hawarden. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, in Hawarden. The Rev. Fredrich Mellberg officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roger Anderson, Verlyn La Pour, Gary McKellips, Walter Holtkamp, Roger Sonichsen and Herman Holtkamp.

Mr. Erickson was born Feb. 12, 1906, in Union County, SD. He was a veteran of World War II. He farmed in Union County and retired in 1972 and moved into Alcester. He is survived by one brother, Albert of Alcester.
