MRS. JOHN ERICSEN [i.e., ERIKSEN] DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Mrs. John S. Eriksen, sr., 81, died January 8 at a hospital in Burbank, Calif., following a stroke five weeks prior to her death.

Mrs. Eriksen resided in Hawarden 32 years before moving to California 15 years ago.

She was born in Trondheim, Norway, August 30, 1885. She married John Eriksen, sr., November 14, 1911.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, E. Eriksen of Pocatello, Idaho, and John, jr., of Burbank, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Ray Talsma of Waco, Texas, Mrs. Julius Hilt of Sun Valley, Calif., Mrs. Theodore Youngkin of Studio City, Calif., and Mrs. Thomas V. Dalton of Hawarden. She was preceded in death by three sons. Survivors also include 26 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Interment was in Valhallo Memorial Park cemetery at Burbank, Calif.
