Tuesday evening, at about nine o'clock occurred the death of Mr. Lias. He was seventy nine years old and had been ill for a number of years. He leaves a wife to mourn his departure, who has the sympathy of the entire community. The funeral took place thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Presbyterian Church.
