Funeral services for James Carl Hoekstra,19 years old Sheldon youth who was one of three person killed in a two car headon crash near Hawarden, IA. January 6 were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Christian Reformed church at Sheldon. Rev. S.T. Cammenga officiated. Butrial was at the East Lawem cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg funeral home.

Mr. Hoekstra was born September 16, 1943, at Sheldon.

Among survivors are is parents Mr. and Mrs. Loius Hoekstra of Sheldon; four brothers, Veron of St. Cloud, Minn., Harold, Gary and Loren, all of Sheldon; Three sisters, Mrs. Steven Vigileos of Tucson, AZ, Mrs. Kenneth Arnold and Miss Glenna Hosestra, both of Sherldon
