VOETBERG SERVICES TO BE TOMORROW

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Voetberg, 81, who died at the Sioux Center hospital Tuesday night [Dec. 21] will be held Friday, Dec. 24, with a prayer service at the Porter Funeral Home at 12:30 followed by services at the First Christian Reformed church at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Leonard Van Drunen officiating. Interment will be in Valley View cemetery.

Mrs. Anna Boxum Voetberg was born March 15, 1884 in The Netherlands. She was married to Harry Voetberg February 12, 1908 at Downs, Kansas, and they lived in this area [Rock Valley] nearly 45 years.

Survivors include three sons, Bert and Ben of Rock Valley, Ralph, Grandville, Mich.; four daughters, Mrs. John Overweg, Rock Valley, Mrs. Gradus Overweg, Harrison, S.D., Mrs. Jake Hengeveld, Grandville, Mich., and Mrs. Peter Boer, Rock Valley, besides 31 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband Harry in 1951, a daughter, Mrs. Rosie Vande Wed, West Olive, Mich. in 1957, two sons, Harold in infancy and Evert, Grandville, Mich. in February of 1965.
