The sad news of the death of Rev. John L. De Young, former pastor of the American Reformed church at Orange City, which ocurred at San diego, CA, last Sunday, reached here the first of the week. Rev. De Young was deeply loved and esteemed by his congregation and the people throughout the county, and his death will be universally mourned. We are informed that his remains wil be taken to his childhood home in Roseland IL, where they will be inteerred next Tuesday. The Democrat extends sympathy and condolence to the sorrowing relatives and friends.
