UNUSUALLY SAD DEATH
Mrs. Geo. Burnight Passes Away--Leaves Three Small Children

One of the sad events of the past week was the death of Mrs. George Burnight which occurred at her home west of Chatsworth last Friday [Nov. 22] following a brief illness from influenza. She leaves a husband and three small children, the youngest about six months of age. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church in Akron at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Fr. Hurley.

Elizabeth Celesta Bockelman was born at Chatsworth, Iowa, June 30, 1893. She was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bockelman, well known and highly respected residents of Chatsworth. She was united in marriage to Mr. George Burnight May 21, 1913. Three children were born to this union. Besides her husband and children she leaves her parents, two sisters and three brothers to mourn her death. One brother, Lawrence Bockelman, passed away only the week previous. He was also a victim of the influenza epidemic. The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their sad hour.
