Burton, Hannah, Mrs. John, died 1944 age 90

Mrs. Hannah Burton passed away about 8:30 Sunday evening [March 26] at the Phillip Evanson home near Hudson at the advanced age of 90 years.

Funeral services will be held at the Ross Funeral home at 2 o'clock this afternoon, with Rev. W. V. Bell in charge. Interment will be in Grace Hill cemetery.

The deceased lived in Hawarden for many years. Her husband, John Burton, drowned in the Sioux river about 1889. There was one daughter in the family, but she passed away many years ago. For about twelve years, Mrs. Burton was cared for in the Evanson home. She is survived by three grandchildren, who live in the western part of the United States.
