For Mrs. H. J. Mulder

Funeral services were held at Central Reformed Church here at 10:30 A.M. October 7 for Mrs. Henry J. Mulder, 76, of Sioux Center who died October 5 at the Sioux Center Hospital following a brief Illness. Services were conducted by the Rev. Wesley Kiel and burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City with Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home of Sioux Center in charge of arrangements. Dirkie Mulder, born October 3, 1896, was married to Nicolas C. Sjaarda,30 Dec. 1919 To this union five children were born: Winifred (Mrs. Gerald Reinders) of LeMars; John Sja.arda of Ireton: Clarence Sjaarda of Valley Springs, SD; Donald of Battle Creek, Mich.; and Marvin Sjaarda of Paullina. Her husband preceded her in death in 1937. In 19 Jun.1942, she married Henry J.'Mulder who survives. She is also survived by six step-children, 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Jake Mulder of Le- Mars; Mrs. Joe Steensma and Mrs. Cornie Peters both of Orange City and Mrs. Wm Roghalr of Hospers.
