Dowie De Boer,84 of Hull died Sunday in a Sioux Center hospital. Services were held Wednesday in the First Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. Gerald A Vander Veld officiated. Burial was at Hope Cemetery, Kraai-Oolman Funeral home was in chargeof Arrangement.

Mr. De Boer was born Nov 18, 1898, in rural Hull. He was a lifelong Hull Area farmer, retiring to town many years ago. He became a resident of Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in Hull a few months ago. He was a member of the First Reformed church where he was a officer in the Sunday school for more than 30 years.

Suriviors include three brother,Gerrit of Adrian, Minn., Gilbert of Colo., and Clarence of Hull and two sisters Mrs. Gerrit(Ellen)DeLeeuw and Mrs. Andrew(Bernice) Vande Griend both of Hull
