Mr. and Mrs. Joe Heebner and daughter Shirley returned last Friday from Audubon, Iowa, where they had attended the funeral of her father,
Wm. Rucker. The deceased passed away Tuesday morning of last week.
Although Mr. Rucker had been in fail, ing health for the past two years his death was quite sudden and unexpected.
The deceased was quite well known by a number of Hawarden people, having visited here at numerous times at the home of his daughter. He is survived
toy his wife, six daughters and two sons, Mrs. Heebner of Hawarden; Dorothy Rucker of Audubon; William Rucker, Mrs. Mary Carroll, Mrs. Edith
Dahms and Mrs. Earl LaFoy of Sioux City; Charles Rucker of Flint, Mich. and Mrs. Ethel McKenney of Fort Dodge.
