Jennie Dykshoorn,90. of Sioux Center, died Sunday, April 23 in the Sioux Center hospital. Services were held Wednesday in the First Reformed Church in Sioux Center with Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Dykshoorn, the former Jennie Vande Berg, was born Nov. 23, 1898 in Newkirk. She married Martin Dykshoorn Feb. 21, 1923 at Sioux Center. He died Sept. 7, 1969. Mrs Dykshoorn was active in the First Reformed Church where she had served as organist, taught Sunday school and was a member of Dorcas Circle.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John (Joyce) Sjaarda and Mrs. Gordon (Lois) Van Roekel, both of Sioux Center; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
