Mrs.C.A.Eby of Huron,SD., a former Hawarden resident died at her home Monday afternoon. While Mrs. Eby had not been as well as usual, her condition was not regarded as serious.

Funeral services will be held at Huron Friday afternoon. Her daughter Mrs. Robert Keehn, went to Huron Monday evening. Others from here who plan to attend the funeral include Robert Keehn and sons Charles and Bobby, Mr. and Mrs. Quinton Miller and Mr. and Mrs.Charles Keehn.

Lillian Halverson, who was about 70 was raised on a farm westy of Chatsworth in Union county. When a young girl, she married to John Westover. Many years ago she came to Hawardwen and lived here a number of years. About 30 years ago she married C.A. Eby and shortly after she went to Huron to live.

Besides her daughter, Mrs. Keehn, she is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Hannah Lanpop, Mrs. James Taggert and Mrs. Mike Conway of Sioux City, Mrs. Carl Oden of Nora, SD.,and Mrs. Ned Oden and Tolda Halverson of Portland, OR., four grandchildren and one great grandchildren
