Mrs. Ed. Dealy, a lifelong resident of this vicinity, passed away at her home in this city early Sunday morning. She had been in poor health for a number of years, and took a turn for the worse a week ago last Friday, death coming at 1:20 Sunday morning.

Mrs. Minnie Kathleen Dealy was born at Hawarden, Iowa, October 4, 1895, and spent practically her entire life in this community. She attended the Hawarden public schools and graduated from the Hawarden high school She went to Chicago after her graduation and was employed as a milliner for Fisk's & Marshall Field's for a period of a year. She was also employed as clerk and bookkeeper in her father's store in this city for a number of years.

She was married to Edward L. Dealy on August 16, 1917 and one daughter, Mildred, age 13 was born to this union.

Mrs. Dealy's highest aim in life was to be a good wife and mother, and she prized her friendships as her most valued possessions. Although she was ill for such a long period of time, she bore her affliction calmly and had expressed herself as having no fear of death.

Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. J. O. Lind, and one brother, Lawrence and a host of friends here.

She was a member of the Altar and Tabernacle Society of St. Mary's church, and also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. Father J. M. Nepple saying Requiem High Mass. Burial was made in the Catholic Cemetery.

Strobel and Mrs. Hugh Wallenburg, Sioux Falls, SD; Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Dealy, Mrs. Ethel Dealy Lynott, Dr. Den Dealy, Mr. E. L. Dealy, Mrs. W. J. Paschka, Mr. & Mrs. Anthony Grambruno and Mr. & Mrs. Pete Eastlund, Sioux City; Mr. & Mrs. Henry Johnson, Akron; Mrs. Ed. Steenick, Alcester; Mrs. J. C. Chestnut, Mrs. J. A. Hanley and Mrs. B. E. Ingalls, Huron, SD.
