Susan Bussanmas,93, Marcus, formely of Sheldon, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, at her residence.

Services were held Friday Oct.15, at Grace United Methodist Church in Marcus, with the Rev. Gary McDonough officiating. Burial was at East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon, under the direction of Rohde-Earnest Funeral Home in Marcus.

Susan Bussanmas, daughter of Sjoerd and Clara(Dykstra) Goslinga, was born Feb. 6, 1911, in rural Alton. She graduated from high school in 1929. She married Harry H. Bussanmas on April 11, 1932, in Sioux Falls, SD. They made their home in Sheldon, where they farmed. Mr. Bussanmas died in 1974. She continued to live on the farm until July 1984, when she moved to Marcus, where her daughter, Clarice, lived. She had lived on the same farm for 52 years before moving to Marcus.

Survivors include a daughter, Clarice Faye and Dr. James L. Wiese of Marcus; a grandson; a great granduaghter; and a brother, Ted "Bud" Goslinga of Orange City. She was prededed in death by her husband, Harry H. Bussanmas; two brothers and a sister.
