Mrs. Aartje Bradshaw Dies at R.V. Home

Rock Valley - Mrs. Aartje Bradshaw, died at her home at about 5 o'clock Saturday morning at the age of 72 years. She has been ailing for the past two years with a combination of heart and kidney trouble. Aartje Niennhuis, was born in Chicago in June, 1876. She has lived in this community for about 35 years, being the widow of Dr. Bradshaw, a former M.D. here. She was one of a family of nine but is survived now by but one sister, Mrs. Effie De Young.

Funeral services were held at 1 at the home and at 1:30 at the First Reformed Church on Tuesday.
