March 30, 1911---June 27, 1992
Ernest Y. Mulder, 81, of Sioux Center died Saturday, June 27, at the Sioux Center Hospital Nursing Wing.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, at First Feformed Church, Sioux Center. Burial will be in memory Gardens, Sioux Center.
Mulder was born March 30, 1911, in Edgerton, Minnesota, the son of Mr. And Mrs. Yge R. Mulder. He attended school in the Sioux Center area. He married Anna Den Hartog at Carmel on May 18, 1933. The couple lived in the Sioux Center area where he worked as a carpenter.
He was a member of First Reformed Church, where he served in the consistory and taught Sunday school and Catechism.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Arlyn and Vi Mulder of Sioux Center; two daughter, Shirley Ann and Warren Camp of Ames and Roxena Harlow of Sioux Center; one sister, Rena Van Eldik of Rock Valley; two brothers, Ted of Sioux Center and John of Artesia, California; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
