Miss Lawson was born March 25, 1865, in the province of Narka, near Hollsberg, Sweden. At the age of 4 she immigrated to this country with her mother, sister and two brothers, to join

For a number of years she spent the winters in a warm climate and returned to her home for the
summer. The past five years she lived in Sioux City in the home of her niece, Mrs. John Power.
She was a member of the Big Springs Baptist church having joined over 60 years ago.
She is survived by a brother, Pete Lawson, of Big Springs five nieces and six nephews.
