Coburn J. Burington,82, of Rossmoor in Walnut Creek, Calif. formerly of Hawarden, died Wednesday, Jan 11, 1984, in Walnur Creek. The body will be cremated. Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel was in charge of Arrangements. Burial was in Hawarden.

Mr. Burington was born April 23, 1901, in Pocahontas. He owned and operated Hawarden Gravel Co. and lived in Hawarden for 33 years. He married Leona Babcock June 30, 1926. She preceded him in death. He married Mildred Mead July 27, 1957.

Survivors include his wife; a son Rex Burington of Prescott, AZ; a daughter, Mrs. Les (Donna) Blaue of Hiawatha, KS., one brother, Don of Mason City and three grandchildren.
