Dr. W.W. Carter, of Alcesater died at the Samaritan hospital in Sioux City on Thursday of last week from typhoid fever. He was taken ill at Alcester and went to Sioux City for treatment and died in a few days arriving there. He was 62 years of age and had been a practicing physician at Alcester for several years.
