Death of Pioneer woman.
Mrs. Desire Miner died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ross Smith, six miles north of Hawarden. She was about 72 years of age and was one of the oldest residents of the Sioux Valley. She had been in poor health for a number of months. She leaves a family of seven grown children. The children are Mrs. Ross Smith, Mrs. Roy Smith, D. O. Miner, H. C. Miner, and M. M. Miner of Eden township, R. C. Miner of Faith SD., B. W. Miner of Bentely ND., and Mrs. S. Thomas of Genham SD. Funeral Services will probably be held Sunday.
