Death of Mrs. Pattin's father.
Mr. John Miner died at his home at Fairview Saturday morning, folloing a stroke which he suffered last Thurday. Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon. Mr. Miner was 80 years old and was one of the oldest settler of Lincoln county. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Chas. Pattin of Hawarden; Mrs. Chas. Barley of Chicago; Mrs. Smith of Odell of Waubay SD., and Mrs. Nay Schane and Mrs. John Harris of Fairview.
