Hessel Van Grouw,77,died Tuesday September 25, 1990 in Valley Manor Nursing Home.

He was born July 28, 1913 in Boyden, Iowa. He was a farm laborer in ther Rock Valley and Orange City area for many years. He moved to Valley Manor in 1976.

He is survived by two sisters, Rena Van Grouw of Hawarden and Grace Dekker of Orange City; and two nephews.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept 29 in Porter Funeral Home at Rock Valley. Burial was in Sheridan Township Cemeterty, in Boyden
