O. Miller Rites Held Wednesday
Funeral Services for a well known Rock Valley area resident, Oscar Miller, 72, were held at 2:00 p.m Wednesday in Peace Lutheran Chruch, with the Rev. Alfred Kaupins officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Porter Funeral Home.
Mr. Miller died sunday morning at Hegg Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born Sept 30, 1895, here and lived on a farm near here all his life. He married Emma Toft Aug 5, 1925 at Hudson SD.
Survivors include the widow; three sons, Dr. V. M. Miller of Racine WI., Dr. Rodney Miller of White Sands, NM, and Paul a student at Iowa State University at Ames; four daughters, Mrs. Lyle Kramer of Ankeny IA, Mrs. Leo Buckley of Littleton CO, Mrs. Robert J. Namtvedt? of Urbana IL and Mrs. Paul Olson of Schofield WI; two brothers, Arthur of Hudson and Harold of Orange city. Two sisters, Miss Clara Miller of Rock Valley and Miss Hidla Miller of Beloit WI and 13 grandchildren.
