Joe Miller dies at age 77 at Hudson Hospital
Joe Miller, 77, of Alcester, a former Big Springs resident, died Monday in the Hudson Hospital.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon (thursday) at the Baptist church in Alcester with Rev. Wilbur Peterson officating Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery in Alcester.
He was born August 13, 1877 at Kiron IA, and moved to his vicinity when a young man. He married Mary Moline February 29, 1912. He moved to Alcester 18 years ago.
He is survived by the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Silas Weeks of Montrose SD., Mrs. Roscoe Bickett of Adrian MN, and Mrs. Robert Skinner of Caldwell ID; a son Quentin Miller of Ogdensburg NY, five grand children and a sister and brother.
