Funeral services for Harold W. Miller were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Methodist church in Rock Valley with Rev. Mervin Nelson officating. He died of a heart attack at the Albert Muth farm near Ireton Wednesday Jul 4.
He was born May 2, 1902 at Sheldon and lived there most of his life. He married Violet Griffin February 19, 1927 and the couple lived at in Sheldon for 10 years, then moved to Rock Valley. Nine children were born to this union.
He is survived by the widow, Violet, and the children, Bruce of Washington KS., Mrs. Darrold Hassebroek of Compton CA, Calvin and Allen of Cedar Rapids, IA., Mrs. William Van Dyker of Sacramento, CA, Mrs. Homer Muth of Sioux Falls, LaVerle of Sioux City, Darla and Shari both at home and 12 grandchildren.
At the services Mrs. Ed De Hass and Mrs. Paul Dean sang......paul bearers listed...
Interment was in Valley View cemetery with the Porter Funeral home in charge.
