Billie Jean Miller, 61, of Hawarden, IA and formerly of Ireton, IA, died on Thursday March 1, 1990 at Marion Health Center in Sioux City IA.
Services were held at the United Methodist church in Ireton on Monday Afternoon, March 5, 1990, the Reverend Paul Hansen officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton under the direction of the Porter-Dow Funeral Home at Ireton.
Billie Jean was born on February 17, 1929 at Ireton, the daughter of William and Berniece Bailey Miller. She grew to womanhood in Ireton where she lived with her parents, and continued to live there after their death. She moved to Hass Hillcrest Care Center in Hawarden in late 1983.
She was a member of the United Methodist church, and of the United Methodist Women.
Survivors include one brother, John B. Miller of Commerce City, CO; two nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
