Clara Miller, 97 of Rock Valley died Monday, October 2, 1989, in a hospital in Rock Valley.
Serviceswere held at 2 p.m. Wednesday Oct 4 in Peace Lutheran Church, rural Sioux Center with the Rev. James Peterson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Porter Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
Miss Miller was born oct 11, 1891, rural Rock Valley. She attended country school through the eighth grade. She helped raise her family after the early death of her mother.
Miss Miller was a member of the Rock Valley Federated Women's Club and American Legon Auxiliary. She was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a brother, Harold Miller of Orange City; a sister Hilda Miller of Rock Valley; Three sisters in law, Mrs. Ed Emma Miller and Mrs. Oscar Emma Miller, both of Rock Valley and Mrs. Arthur Josephine Miller of Hudson, SD; many nieces and nephews.
