While visiting at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Geo. Mueller, in this city, Mr. J. Hinz of Winfield ILL., was taken sick with cholera morbus thursday. After a short illness he died Sunday morning and his corpse has been shipped home for burial He was a leading citizen of Winfield, and his death is a sad blow to his relatives and friends. His daughter and the many afflicted relatives have the sympathy of all in this hour of bereavement.
(In the 1895 IA census there was a George R. Mueller 28 born IL living in Alton with his wife Mary (Hinz) 28 born IL and a 2 yr old Anna L. Mueller all living in Alton.)
