The youngest child of G. (Gerrit) VanEs of Newkirk died last Tuesday. It was buried at the Newkirk cemetery Thursday. Our heartfelt sympathy is expressed for the bereaved parents.

Only record found of this child was in the birth index, a child Jan Van Es was born to Gerrit Van Es and Nelly Roos in 1895. So the child was a young infant. There was a Dirk born in 1892 but according to records he lived 1892-1962. This babe was the son of Gerrit Van Es b. 18 Sep 1867 Pella IA died 17 Aug 1928 Orange City, and Nellie Roos 1873-1959. Other children in the family were - Gerrit 1891, Dirk 'Dick' 1892, Tillie 1898, and Jessie 1902. There may have been more children.)
