Annie, daughter of Peter and Grace Van Muyden, was born February 2, 1895 in the Netherlands. She came to the United States in 1900. She attended the Sioux Center Christian School.
She was united in marriage to Lambert Van Wyhe of Ireton, Iowa in December, 1914 at Hawarden, Iowa. Their married life was lived in Hawarden, Ireton, Akron, and rural Ireton, retiring in Sioux Center in 1954. Mr. Van Wyhe preceded her in death.
She passed away Monday, September 15, 1975 at the Sioux Center Community Nursing Wing at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 13 days.
She is survived by five daughters and four sons:
Margaret (Mrs. Dick Vande Griend) of Orange City, Iowa, Gertrude (Mrs. Ordean Webert) of Reading, Minnesota, Dorothy (Mrs. Peter Vander Griend) of Hawarden, Iowa, Alice (Mrs. William Moerman) of Sioux Center, Iowa, Mrs. Esther Vande Hoef of Luverne, Minnesota, Gordon of Ireton, Iowa, Duane of Ireton, Iowa, Wayne of Hills, Minnesota, Marlin of Ireton, Iowa; 28 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one brother Leonard Van Wyhe of Hawarden, Iowa and one sister Mrs. Barney Okkema of Western Springs, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lambert, four sisters and one brother.
