Sheldon - Gladys Brandts, 74, of Sheldon died Monday in the Sheldon Community Memorial Hospital. Services are today (Wednesday) at 10 A.M., in the First Reformed Church in Sheldon with the Rev. Louis Benes officiating. Interment is in the East Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Andringa Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brandts, the former Gladys Kuyper, was born April 27, 1910, at Rock Valley and attended Sanborn rural schools. She married Ray Brandts Nov. 24, 1938 at Sanborn. They made their home in Sheldon.

Mrs. Brandts was a member of the First Reformed Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and held offices in the Ladies Aid and Guild.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Karen of Bloomington, Minn, and Luann (Mrs. Marvin) Donkersloot of Sheldon; one son, Marvin of Sioux City; one brother, Kenneth of Sanborn; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
