Maggie De Boom
Harris–Funeral services for Maggie De Boom, ,84, were held Tuesday, September 11, 1984, at the United Methodist Church, Harris. The Rev. Gordon Vickery officiated with burial at the Middleburg Cemetery, Middleburg.
Mrs. De Boom passed away Sept. 8, at the Lake Park Nursing Home. The Andringa Funeral Home, Sibley, was in charge of the arrangements.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wynia, she was born March 21, 1909, at Maurice where she attended country school. She lived her youth in Sioux Center. She married Cornelius De Boom of Hull, Oct 29, 1923 at Ireton. They resided at rural Orange City until 1948 when they moved to Round Lake, MN. They then moved to Harris in 1966.
She is survived by her husband, Cornelius, Harris; two daughters, Mrs. George (Sadie) De Vries, Round Lake, MN; and Mrs. Herman (Jeanette) Nibbelink, Orange City; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, and sister and four brothers.
