Mrs. Arie DeBoom, of Sioux Center, died Tuesday at a Sioux Center hospital.
Services were held Thursday in the First Reformed Church at Sioux Center. The Rev. Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt officiated. Burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.
Mrs. DeBoom, the former Marie Schutt, was born Sept. 15, 1898, at Sioux Center and attended school in the area.
She was married Dec. 12, 1919, at Sioux Center. They lived in rural Hull and rural Sioux Center, moving to Sioux Center in 1959.
Survivors include the widower; one son, Clarence of West Des Moines; two daughters,. Mrs. Henry C. (Darlene) Mulder of Rock Rapids and Mrs. Lawrence E. (Maxine) Vant Hul of Rock Valley; one brother, Gerrit of Sioux Center; four sisters, Mrs. John Smith and Mrs. Dick Mulder, both of Alton, Mrs. Henry Dykstra of Le Mars and Mrs. Arnold De Stroete of Hospers; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
