Miss Cornelia Lena Scholting passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Nie Hanemaayer, Friday evening Jan, 8th. She had attained the age of 75 years, 11 months. She was born at Almelo, The Netherlands, February 8th, 1861. She came to America at the age of 29 years and made her home in Omaha, Nebr. until 20 years ago when she came to resdie with the Hanemaayer family. She was the daughter of Barnerd Scholting and her mother was Sophie Eleanor Stenlif, Three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Surviving are her sister, Louisa Mrs. Nie Hanemaayer and brother Henry Scholting of Grand Island, Nebr. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 at the Hanemaayer home with Rev. J.G. Brouwer officiating. Interment at the Orange City cemetery.
