James Graham Cain, age 64 of Arizona City, AZ, and formerly of Ireton, passed away January 15, 1993, in Arizona City of cancer.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, January 20, at the Central Lutheran Church of Arizona City, AZ, Rev. Thomas Stephens officiated. Services will also be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hawarden, January 29, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Vogler will be officiating. Burial will be in the Hawarden cemetery.

Mr. Cain was born December 4, 1928, in Ireton. He lived in Rapid City, SD, prior to moving to Dillon, CO. He was employed by L.G. Evenst, Inc. [another obit calls it Everist] for 41 years, where he participated in many large national projects. He retired as area manager western slope, in Silverthorne, CO.

Mr. Cain was a former member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Rapid City and Mountain Lutheran Church in Dillon. He most recently was a member of the Central Lutheran Church of Arizona City, where he served on the Stewardship Committee. He was formerly active in Boy Scout and Little League. He was a member of the Arizona City Golf Club.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of Arizona City, AZ; four sons, Tim of Mankato, MN, Pat of Temple, TX, and Marty and Kelly both of Colorado Springs, CO; two sisters, Helen Deremer of Sioux City and Judy Peters of Des Moines; and seven grandchildren.

Memorials have been established in his name with the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 5377, Phoenix, AZ, 85010, and Central Lutheran Church of Arizona City, 12921 S. Sundland Gin Road, Arizona City, AZ.
