Passed Away in Le Mars
Mrs A. B. Brown of Le Mars, well. known in Ireton, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. E. Terpenning, in Le Mars on Tuesday of last week.
Funeral services were held at the Ma. Funera1 home in Le Mars last Friday, with Rev. J.J. Share in charge. Burial was at Le Mars.
Hattie E. Keith was born on January 22, 1879, in Tama county, Iowa. She was married on November 6, 1901, at Ireton to Archie E. Brown, a North Western depot agent. She lived in a number of towns in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. Mr. Brown preceded her in death 12 years, and since then she lived with her daughter.
Besides Mrs. Tenpenning, she is survived by a son Claude of Los Angeles, Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Harry C. Brown of Belden, Neb., and Mrs. Nick Pool of Sioux Falls, and five grandchrldren. .
Those from Ireton who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Roges, Mrs. Marie McCrory and Mrs. G. L. Houlton and Ione.
