Mrs. Geo. D. Brown
The many Hawarden friends of Mrs. Geo. D. Brown will be grieved to learn that she passed away very suddenly Monday evening at her home at Yankton, S. D. She suffered a stroke of paralysis several months ago, but she had partially recovered and her family and friends began to hope that her normal health would again be restored. The news of her sudden death came as a shock to her many friends here. Funeral services were held at Yankton yesterday. She leaves a husband, two sons. and two daughters to mourn the death of a loving wife and an affectionate and indulgent mother.
The children are Mrs. B. B. Waite of Ireton, Frank and Roy of the state of Washington, and Faith who was at home. Mr. and Mrs. Brown were residents of Hawarden for a number of years, going from here to Armour. S. D., and then to Yankton, where they made their home for a few years. During their residence in this city she made many warm friends all of whom extend sincere condolence to the bereaved ones.
