Funeral services for Andrew Erickson,71, McNally blacksmith, who died Saturday at the Hawarden hospital, were held at 2 0'clock Wednesday at the Baptist church here. Dr. Franklin Morse officiating. Interment was at Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of Barnard Funeral home.

Mr. Erickson was born September 12, 1892, southwest of Hawarden in Sioux county, a son of Ole and Helen (Trageser) Erickson. He never married.

Survivors include two brothers, Michael and Henry, both of Hawarden and two sisters Mrs. Joe Stitz in Oregon and Mrs. Anna Adams of Le Mars, two sisters died in infancy.
